Elena Caicedo, LMT

Elena Caicedo, LMT has always been attracted to the idea of helping people. After moving to Denver, she discovered a passion for health and wellness, which lead her to massage therapy. She attended and graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy where she also worked as an anatomy tutor. While in school she was trained in Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Body Work, and Sports Massage.  She has since attended seminars in Hot Stone Massage, Myofascial Release, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (in this modality the therapist uses their feet for massage, with the assistance of bars on the ceiling for support) and Pregnancy Massage.

Elena has worked and trained at Balanced You  for over a year and a half and in that time she has learned a great deal about creating individualized sessions to each client’s needs. Her goal is always to use her unique training to relieve tension and help people develop a  more positive connection with their body.

A client testimonial about Elena’s services:

I have been going to BalancedYou and seeing Elena for massage therapy for several years now. I have had a stress fracture in my lower back, and I currently have a degenerative disk and arthritis in the same area. Seeing Elena regularly drastically lessens the daily pain that I deal with. She has also recommended many different kinds of stretches to improve my flexibility as well as acupuncture. Now, I also regularly see Tess for acupuncture. Together they have not only drastically improved the quality of my back, but they have also reduced the stress that comes with being a graduate student!

The studio itself is kept immaculate and promotes a sense of peace. Each time I go, both Tess and Elena talk to me about the issues I’ve had over the previous month and customize the treatment to my responses: no two visits are the same. Without massage therapy and my newfound enjoyment of acupuncture, my pain would be a lot worse, and at BalancedYou they care enough to try and make every day better instead of only one day.
