Rebekah Knause, L.Ac., LMT, RYT

Rebekah Knause, L.Ac., LMT, RYT is the owner of Balanced You Clinic. Rebekah was born and raised in West TN and has been in Knoxville since 2001.

She is a licensed Acupuncturist with the state of TN and holds diplomate status with the NCCAOM. Rebekah graduated from the Jung Tao School of Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, NC in July of 2018. Rebekah has been a practicing massage therapist for the past 16 years as well as during her years studying at Jung Ta

Rebekah’s goal, along with her staff of therapists, is to provide a holistic way to teach and facilitate balance within themselves and continue to promote that balance to the community of Knoxville.

Tess Bradley, L.Ac.

Tess Bradley, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist in Tennessee and a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist holding a Diplomat status with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Tess uses a combination of classical style acupuncture, cupping, dietary and lifestyle counseling, and herbal formulas to tap into the body’s innate wisdom and treat symptoms from their root causes. Tess treats a diverse spectrum of conditions but enjoys focusing on women’s, digestive, and emotional health issues.

Cara Bradshaw, LMT, RYT

Cara Bradshaw, LMT, RYT graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor’s in Dance, studied massage at Arbor College, and received her Yoga Teacher training at The Glowing Body. She has a professional background in dance and fitness; including aerobics, pilates, barre, and yoga.

With personal experience in what a sore, overworked body feels like, she knows first hand what her clients need to recover from exertion. Massage has long been a method in helping her to heal from, cope with, and prevent injuries as well as a means for easing anxiety and stress. She seeks to bring a depth of relief and relaxation to both athletes and those with chronic conditions.

Daniel Musser, LMT

Daniel Musser, LMT, is an Arbor College of Massage graduate with two years experience as a licensed massage therapist. His interest in massage stems from a lifelong passion for movement and sports.  As a long distance runner and and weight lifter he draws from his athletic background to analyze the body based on movement and chronic holding patterns. He has additional training in myofascial release, structural integration, and cranial sacral therapy.

Lydia Moneyhun, LMT

Lydia Moneyhun, LMT, graduated from Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage. She has extended her education by attending classes in Gua Sha (Scraping Therapy) and Cupping, Thai Massage, as well as yoga teacher training. She is consistently learning and training with more experienced therapists, focusing on several different techniques and modalities. Lydia’s main goal is to educate each individual client in different skills to maintain the success found in massage, on their own.

Elena Caicedo, LMT

Elena Caicedo, LMT has always been attracted to the idea of helping people. After moving to Denver, she discovered a passion for health and wellness, which lead her to massage therapy. She attended and graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy where she also worked as an anatomy tutor. While in school she was trained in Swedish Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Body Work, and Sports Massage.  She has since attended seminars in Hot Stone Massage, Myofascial Release, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (in this modality the therapist uses their feet for massage, with the assistance of bars on the ceiling for support) and Pregnancy Massage.

Dr. Dave Corbitt, DC

Dr. David Corbitt, D.C., is a native Knoxvillian who grew up in South Knoxville. After graduating South-Doyle High School he completed his undergrad in 1997 at Ambassador University in Big Sandy, Texas. In 2001 he then went on to graduate from Chiropractic School from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.

Dr. Corbitt is a highly respected Chiropractor serving Knoxville and the surrounding areas since 2001. Specializing in Full Spine, Thompson Technique and Activator, Dr. Corbitt is dedicated to helping treat people with a variety of ailments. Christina Gerdes, E-RYT 200, E-RYT-500, YACEP

Christina Gerdes, E-RYT 200, E-RYT-500, YACEP was introduced to yoga in the early 90’s as a teenager and continued to do yoga throughout college and beyond until in 2003 she began Five Elements School of Yoga’s yoga teacher training to further her own practice.

Christina specializes in teaching private yoga lessons tailored to each individual student. She uses postures, breath adaptation and breath practices, bandhas, yoga philosophy, mantra and meditation to create a class just for you. Each private lesson includes a stick figure drawing of Your Own Personal Home Practice, which can be adjusted and adapted as You Adjust and Adapt through Day to Day Life

Amberly Kelley-Dotson, MS, RYT 2OO

After struggling to reconnect with her body and battling extreme anxiety in her young adulthood, Amberly eventually discovered the incredible combination of yoga and coaching. Through coaching, she was able to reframe her thought patterns and through private therapeutic yoga sessions, she was able to address maladaptive movement patterns and release trauma that was stuck in her body.

The immense healing she experienced inspired her to pursue training in these areas.  She has been teaching yoga since 2016 and has continued her study and education by attending multiple therapeutic and trauma-informed trainings.
